Consideration about InfoVis
As several analists have discovered, infoVis is a new and emerging field where is possible to research and find new solutions also for business.
If is quite simple to define the area of action for the traditional scientific infovis, this is not true about non scientific data and fenomenas that could also be investigated through infoVis tools and techniques.
About this position, Bob Amar, James Eagan and John Stasko have been researched around Task Centric InfoVis where the infoVis tools become a way to move around serendipity and user knowledge.
The same aim is also into the designNet project.
