Stats and web2.0 tools ;)
Today I attended the Forum PA in Rome, Italy, where ISTAT (the italian national statistic organization) hold an interesting serie of quick speeches about web2.0 tools for the world of the official statistic.
The seminars I attended were quite interesting related to the way international and national statistic organizations are now (finally) adopting new web2.0 solutions; among them a lot of the tools we spoke several time in the past: ManyEyes, Gapimder and Swivel.
I also think that infovis and user experience design could now be ready to help national statistic organizations to deliver high-quality knowledge designing and developing services involving users into delivery and production processes.
As an infovis company, here at VISup, we do really belive that is now time to invest time on these amazing topics!
